1. Use WPA encryption (WPA-PSK) it’s less crackable then WEP.
2. Make a passphrase that is upper & lower case and has some numbers thrown in there as well, again harder to crack.
some like mAkE1t5eCurE0rel53 and as long as possible.
3. Use MAC access control so only you or authorized PC’s can connect (even if you do have encryption turned on)
4. Turn off DHCP use static addresses.
5. Turn off SSID (and change it) unless your card really needs it (some do)
6. Change username/password of access unit front end
7. Ensure you have the usual firewall enabled on your PC.
8. Paranoia rules, turn WLAN off if your not using it 🙂
thats for safe computing, as for winfixer, it’s one dug in tick of malware here how to remove,

This is why people are fanatical about back-ups. If you were prepared with a backup right now you would be all set.
It is very difficult to straighten out a system by deleting files once it is infected. Some malware re-installs itself if you don’t get every single file all at once. Some malware will install new modules everytime you reboot. They ff with your registry keys, too. Without a back-up you end up having to wipe everything and start over, setting up your OS and re-installing every driver and program…
If you can, right click on the icon, look for something that says Delete, and click on it. Unless it was downloaded, then go into start, find the link, if it has options go into that, and click on Uninstall
go with portnoyscomplaining’s way if that doesnt work it may be spyware/adware

Have you tried going to "Start/control panel/add or remove programs" and doing it from there?
