i bought virus protection the other day and put it on my laptop..is it ok if i put it on my desktop computer too? or is there some law against that? just wondering. thanks!

if u or ur father has fat wallet, have the license updated to multiple users. that way, u can even share it with ur brother/sister (if u have).

Depends entirely on the nature of the license agreement. It’s not uncommon for a single AV license to cover up to say, 3 computers but equally it could be a single user license
Depends on the license agreement, but generally, no. You are allowed to put one copy of the software on one machine for each license you purchase.
Some software, however, does specifically permit you to put the software on two or more machines.
You need to consult with the manufacturer of the software to ask them if it’s permitted or not.
