1) "something like that" is useless. I’d look up the file if I had a name, but I can’t do a search on "pjeqsvi.sys (something like that)", can I?
2) Try http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html
3) If #2 doesn’t work you’ll have to reinstall Windows. Boot from another OS CD (any Linux distro will work) and delete the Windows folder. Shut down. Open the drive (the ‘pinhole’) and put the Windows disk in the drive. Close the drive. Turn the computer on and install Windows. (Doing it from power off will make sure that there are no memory resident viruses running.)
So, you cannot boot into your computer at all?? Can you boot into any bootable disk?
If you can boot into any bootable disk then what you can do is boot into some live cd of some operating system like ubuntu or fedora and transfer your important documents into some external drive.
I think your boot sequence isnt right, so check that first. if the first boot device is cd/dvd drive then must be a hardware failure. if not then change into it. Best of luck. 🙂
it may not be booting from the disk due to it being after the HDD in the boot order. refer to the computers instructions for details on changing this.
after you do that try the disk again.
(another option is to take out the HDD and connect it to another pc and transfer your files then do a clean install)
