   Backweb apparently is a "legal" spyware program that searches your computer and looks for hp updates. It is a vital part of your system but it can be a entry point for virus (well that’s the word on the street). However it probably harmless (see link below). If your having troubles finding the executable (I was) I would try e-mailing backweb itself (view link below) and plolitely asking them to send you a complementary copy. Good luck!
