do a fresh install look it up on youtube
windows 7 fresh instal or clean instal
what choice do you have other then a clean install since you can not upgrade to windows 7 until this software is removed from your computer.
if you did not have the program installed when you first tried to upgrade then where did it come from ?
the only way out of this problem is to save your information on a back up disk or on a memory stick and then do what you do not want todo and that iss aclean install.
I had this issue.
Go to control Pannel> programmes/software> uninstall programme
find the program that is incompatable, in this case, the nero software – get rid of everything to do with nero.
upgrade.
go to Isohunt.com and download all the software you removed.
This, you may think is illegal – however, if you can prove you bought the software legally but have just redownloaded it, it isnt illegal.
because by rights, you still own the software 🙂
I am having the same issue!
Looks like you’re going to need a clean install i’m afraid or you just don’t upgrade. Your choice.
