computer software question everest ultimate edition?

i got a question see i got my emachines computer fixed and i got a new motherboard and 1 extra new hard drive. ok now that i pluged my emachines speacker in the computer the volume is significatly lower and i have a microphone and that microphone does not work . ok when i oped the computer to see what new stuff it has. and it does not have a sound card just a little silverbox in the inside where the speaker jack and microphone jack plug into. so i dont know what is wrong is there any kind of software that i can get that that tells me what motherboard i got and what is compatible with it it is everest ultimate edition good??

Windows failed to start?

Okay so i got spyware today on my pc. Then i downloaded a program that found the spyware and said it would erase it. But it said it had to restart the computer to completely remove the spyware. I restarted my computer and its says "windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause." I tried windows memory diagnostic, doesnt work. I tried all the options of starting it, such as safe mode, doesnt work. and i dont have a windows installation disc. I dont know what to do.
this probably isnt gonna help but the file is " CI.dll" and the status is "0xc0000098" and it says windows failed to load because a required file is missing or corrupt.

I need to diagnose/benchmark my desktop PC performance?

Hi there. Using the net and answers from the Yahoo community, i’ve now got a perfectly formatted PC running XP Pro.

It’s got an;
300GB SATA HD (for XP and progs) (defragged all good)
1TB SAMSUNG SATA HD (for storage)
Intel Core 2 CPU 6600@ 2.4ghz (2 CPU’s)
Gigabyte motherboard 965P DS3P
4GB of Ram
SB Live 24bit (yeah, it’s crap i know, but sound makes me sad)
NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800GTS 640mb

So everything should be hunky dory right? Time to play ma games right?

this piece of crap can’t run my cool games properly, i mean, even OBLIVION stutters.
Call of Duty 4? 5 frames per second buddy.

In the meantime i’ve been playing freaking KOTOR, great game btw, but 5 years old!

so theres a problem, my awesome computer, runs like crap.

So my friends, help me before i just go out to the couch and turn on the PS3 and put my finger up at PC gaming forever.

i’d love if someone can point me in the direction of some diagnostics/benchmarking software so i can find the evil bottleneck! THANKS

I have a 97 dodge ram 1500 and i have a laptop mounted inside the cab of the truck i was wanting a kit and software so i could see what my truck is doing on the laptop i have seen these online but i am skeptical on what to get any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Is there any free software where it fixes AND scan my computer for free?

I have had people give me free scan softwares like Registry Cleaner but they only give me free scanning but I would have to pay for getting it fixed. I want a free scan and I want a free fix where I don’t want to pay for anything when I get my computer fixed with a software. I just want to download it and be done with it without paying for nothing. And I want to get my computer to stop crashing down on me without having to pay a cent so can you please help me by giving me a good software for my computer please.
