Where can i get a free trial of a registry cleaner as my partners computer has 100% cpu usgae and badly needs a registry clean. usually when you download something it scans then says you have to pay for it to properly clean.

ive tried ccleaner and a couple other things and they just dont really clean everything…i know for a fact my registry has over 300 errors on it and ccleaner only came up with like 40 or 50
I know how to clean registry using softwares such as uniblue or tuneup utility…………
i want to know is there any option to do it the way by the system such as disk derag u know through system tools
I made a full system backup the other day and want to know if I could restore the whole thing if the fresh reinstall I’m planning doesn’t work out and I want to go back to how it was.

Thanks P. I had also made a registry export but had forgotten that regedit won’t handle some entry types that regedt32 will.
I’ll export the whole thing and also each user’s settings separately.
I’m A+ certified from way back – started doing support in the DOS/Win3.0 days – but I’ve never had occasion to restore or reinstall a Windows system from scratch. I’ve always been able to keep them running clean long enough to make a new low-end system the better option. Been out of the game as a pro for a few years too.

Is there any place online where I can download a full version of a registry cleaner, because all I can find is trial versions and those only fix like 5 problems. Is there a way that I can fix errors on my computer without having to download and install one of those softwares?
