   I would assume you don’t mean formatting it..means 100% wiped your HDD, that includes your memory….

   but to manage memory, assuming you have the NXE(the good looking ones with avatars that represent you), go to "MY XBOX" section, and keep moving right to the last blade "SYSTEM SETTINGS" go in it and choose "MEMORY". After that, select the specifc Hard Drive you are looking for, then it will show you all the items you have in category, choose a specific item you don’t want and there should be a delete option. Also, if you are in the category section, you could press "X" and it will gives you some delete suggestions on things that you may or may not want to get rid of.
