   Sophos has a support forum for its free Mac anti-virus product at http://openforum.sophos.com/macav

   That’s the best place to ask questions like this.

   That program was a mac trojan, and has no doubt given you the very viruses it claimed to detect, or else was the demo version, and now you will have to register (*or pay for) "removal".

   If you didn’t get it from this site(http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/free-mac-anti-virus/) then you may have more issues. Remove what you’ve installed and download and install from the site above. Sophos is a very good AV there have been several attempts to copy it in the past this may have been a new attempt. Hope this helps
