Hi,DeLTAxAssassiN
There are 3 step to repair computer slow error
I had the same problem, My friend helped me fix it, he is a computer expert. He told me a very good way. I use this method also fixes a lot of common computer errors, I think you should try it, you only need 3 steps to fix computer slow error:

To make your computer faster, defragment your registry and hard disk. Use a registry defragmenter program to defragment your registry and use the Disk Defragmenter to defrag your disk.
1. Download Reginout registry defrag.
2. Analyze the registry state and defragment it, if necessary.
3. Click Start button on the Taskbar.
4. Click All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter.

Computer infected by any malicious application also runs slow. In this case you have to download and install reliable antivirus program with up to date virus database. Run a complete PC scan and remove all the viruses detected by the program.
Repair Registry Errors
Windows registry keeps on storing information about programs installed on PC in form of keys. Corrupt registry keys cause a computer to run slow. In order to fix this issue and speed up your computer you need to install a System Utilities program which includes Registry Cleaner and PC Optimizer feature. These tools will allow you to boost your computer performance.
I have never used norton but I have heard it causes problems, you might want to consider uninstalling it.
Have a look at task manager, to see how much paging file is being used, if it’s high you probably need more memory.
….I’m not a big fan of Norton Internet Security because it literally brought my computer "to its knees". It would run so slow that I could turn it on in the morning, take a shower and get dressed, check to see that Windows was coming up, vacuum three rooms, go to the computer to open hotmail, eat breakfast, finish a cup of coffee then answer my e-mails.
….Norton may be conflicting with Windows Live firewall. Turn off Windows firewall (if you can, Microsoft doesn’t like that) by opening the Control Panel, click on System and Security then Windows Firewall. Click on Turn Windows Firewall On or Off located on the left side of the screen in the blue area. Turn it off to see if the computer is faster. Make sure Norton has its firewall on first since 90% of all viruses try to go through the firewall.
….You could have a lot of temporary or "orphaned" programs in your registry. An orphaned program is one that was recently uninstalled but several bits of information was left behind. Go to CNET.com, click on the DOWNLOADS tab located near the top middle of the screen. In the Downloads section, do a search for CCleaner and download and install it.
…..When CCleaner is installed, run everything in the Cleaner section in the WINDOWS tab except Wipe Free Space (be sure there is not a checkmark in the box) and everything in the APPLICATIONS tab (be sure ALL boxes are checked).
…..Next open the REGISTRY section and be sure to have all boxes checked. Click the ANALYZE button to see all missing registry applications. Click on the Fix Problems then Fix All Problems buttons to clean the registry.
….Reboot your computer to see if it will start and run any faster. If not then be sure to have one of those free large named anti-virus programs installed (such as AVG or Avast) and operational. Remove Norton completely and see if your computer starts and runs faster. You can get Avast or AVG from CNet also. Run CCleaner again to be sure Norton did not leave any temporary files behind.
….Once you are satisfied that the registry is cleaned, then run Disk Cleanup and Defragment to be sure all unnecessary programs are removed. Check to see if your computer is any faster. It should be. My computer is so fast now that I don’t even have time to turn on the shower water before I’m reading my e-mail.
Check the hardware… Windows usually gets slower after some time. Did you install some software recently which is taking up a lot of memory?
Try switching to linux if you are not a windows fan
