nono that’s not a goddamn virus
it sounds like either your memory is failing (the beeps) or a system overheat (also the beeps)
3 year old rig man, open that b*tch up and clean it out, probably caked in dust
actually, one long beep is definitely a hardware failure. well, good luck mate
i like the other guys answer!
but this also works go to device manager and uninstall the video driver, USB hub drivers and stuff and reboot it should reinstall them all on boot up and then maybe that will work!
ONLY DO IT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING
You said you cleaned and moved around your memory. I would try to run tests on it, it sounds like it could be bad. There are plenty free memory tests out on the internet. Beeping can indicate a bad memory stick. Also being that you did a system restore, I don’t think it will be a software issue, but more so a hardward problem, I would start with your memory
Check your Keyboard, ps2 or usb, plug in another one.
Check your Mouse, same thing, ps2 or usb, try another one.
It can also be the processor fan, is running too low, and causing the CPU to spike up and freeze your OS. Trust me, ive had this issue on mine and it was the keyboard, it sounds to be some type of hardware related though, just troubleshoot it out and im sure you will find out what it is. Try to upgrade your BIOS if there is an upgrade, but make a backup of your old one though. Always a good idea.
A ram module may not be seated correctly or it could be a faulty ram, either a stick is bad or the dimm socket is faulty. Try using one stick of ram.
