   Malwarebytes is very good but like every other scanner it’s not perfect. I would download Spybot Search and Destroy (Free) and run it.
   Ohh…..did you restart your computer after the crap was removed? You might have to .

   Malware bytes is really good but sometimes its too good, and it finds things that you don’t necessarily need to worry about, but for something like this, it sounds like PC-tool’s Registry Mechanic could do the trick.

   Do a full scan with Malwarebytes in safe mode, then with SuperantiSpyware once you’ve removed everything install Firefox 3 and browse with that instead of IE and pop-ups will be history.

   How to remove Fake Software, Pop-Ups, Spyware, Trojans and Viruses:

   Download, install, update and scan your computer with both Malwarebytes and SuperantiSpyware, delete what ever they find, if this fails to completely remove the virus/spyware download then update Avast and run a boot scan (click schedule boot-time scan and restart your PC), all the software below is free and safe to use.
