   Part of the problems is that chat rooms are full of bots which count against the maximum number allowed in. I go to only one room these days, and have been finding exactly the same problem as you are experiencing, but over probably 2 or 3 weeks now. I use Y Tunnel which has a ‘room buster’ function which has 10 tries at opening a room before giving up. That is returning both a ‘room full’ message and ‘no reply from server’ message. The later might explain that there are, indeed, yahoo problems. When, and if, I do get in, I receive constant messages ‘you are already in this room’!
