   Reformat and then reinstall windows. Fix or remove your errors using system cleaner like Reginout or any other.

   A test to see if Windows got confused is to boot into safe mode while it is booting up. When up and running, wait three minutes, then shut it down. Wait a minute and reboot the computer, if it goes to Windows that was what happened, if not it may have a corrupt boot section that needs to be repaired using the Windows CD while booting up.

   I would suggest you back up your hard drive and then reformat everything to get it fixed. This is a device that allows you to do so:

   You connect the old hard drive to this device, and then the device to a another computer or laptop via USB. You would then be able to access all the files on it.
