The only thing you have to worry about uninstalling when you install MSE is any other antivirus you have.
Rogers Online Protection has an antivirus, so you’ll have to either uninstall it entirely or turn off the antivirus part or it.
Same goes for Spyware Doctor- if you have the version with antivirus.
If you have the version of Spyware Doctor without antivirus, you can keep it.
Rogers Online Protection suite produced by Radialpoint is absolute garbage. Its a resource hog to boot.
I use strictly free versions of antivirus (Avira Antivir), firewall (Comodo firewall) and antispyware (Superantispyware) and all work amazingly well.
In most situations for removing programs you go to the control panel and choose the add/remove icon and remove them from there. If they are not listed, then the uninstall is either in the menus or actually in the folder or directory for the program.
Remove Rogers online protection….keep the registry cleaner on there…..and you can also leave on MBAM while your downloading MSE……
