If you didnt hear the whole thing, Mr. Blank made a comment about Vick being gone from the league and that if he "ate too much fried chicken and french fries" that he may get too out of shape and not be able to get back in the NFL.

As a white man who lives in the south I don’t see that as a racial comment, and it is silly to try to make it a racial comment. That is probably what he had for dinner.
Absolutely! Mr. Vick is a man of great moral character and the white dude is once again slamming the black man. What could be more racist than that? Unless it could be the acquittal of O.J.
nope never thought it was a race thing at all wished poeple would grow up and stop using the race card ever time someone says something
No.
NO, WHY HAS IT ALWAYS GOT TO BE ABOUT RACE?! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD?!?!
I honestly don’t think he meant it to be racist.
Fried chicken is huge in the south, and what American doesn’t like fries?
He probably should’ve used different foods (perhaps grits, and fries?) so as to not give the media fuel.
im black, I don’t eat chicken, I took no offense.
Mainly because I didn’t see/hear what they dude said. It was secondary through other peoples perspective. It all depends on how it was said, the context. But I don’t make much of it.
no if anyone did that they would get fat without working out
no it was not racial i wish people would quit bringing race into every little comment that is made
There’s no story here.
No. The world we live in today, thinking THAT is racist.
no not at all.. ppl play the race card to fast now adays
His intentions may not have been racial, but he could have said something better than fried chicken.
No b/c im white and I love fried chicken and french fries.
Yes that was very racial.
That never croseed my mind. Lets leave race out of this.
considering how Blank went out of his way to care for Vicks every need before Vick showed his "gratitude"…I doubt it. Between Vick and Petrino’s betrayel of his trust, though, I could see him letting emotion color his thinking and better judgement. I could also see the media taking it way out of context. Not having heard these statements myself, I really can’t judge. You should really provide a link. (not doubting you…but I was just on both ESPN and NFL.com, and didn’t see anything on it……in this race card loving society, that seems kind of….odd?)
