   Keeping your PC clean is a good thing. Not only is defragmenting going to help, but you DO need to delete old files that you don’t need. Start uninstalling programs that you don’t really need anymore. Also be sure to use a Registry cleaner to remove things that can make the PC even slower. One more thing is stopping programs that start with Windows.
   To do this go to start > Run > msconfig.exe
   Now click the "Startup" tab and uncheck any programs you don’t want to have on startup. Be sure to ONLY uncheck programs that you know what they do. Hope it helps!
