   You will want to go into action center on your computer with Windows 7. There on the left lower corner is Windows Program Compatibility Trouble Shooter. This will get you started. If the program runs on XP it should run in Windows 7. I had problems with it also trying to run a retail game program. Another example is Windows XP Pinball program will run in 7 the first time. Then refuses to the second. There is a work around for it. But it is not worth the time. I found this in Microsoft Support. You may want to look in their forums also. Link is below. SFC is only for 7 files of the operating system. The manufacture of your program should also supply support. If the program, has to access the Internet to run , this has to be set up in Component Services under the heading of Administrative Services under All Programs. Hope it helps.
