   If the error is causing other computers on your network to lose the internet it isn’t spyware…that much we can say for sure.It sounds more likely it’s your router-it’s apparently not handling requests or "routing" properly.Try leaving the router unplugged for a few minutes (certain routers are prone to this when they get to hot).While it’s cooling off..try hooking your computer straight into your modem(you will probably have to go thru the "set up a new connection" deal,since your info (username and password)with the ISP for your ADSL was stored in your router.

   You don;t mention trying other browsers-does this happen with firefox too?

   Failing that we can try and turn down your MTU(maximum transmission Units) on your computer.I’ll put a link below where your can download a small program called Dr.TCP that makes this easy…where it says 1500 change it to 1492..then 1484 etc (has to be done in increments of 8)
