u did more than that to mess up ur os
This error message usually means that the BIOS can’t find the operating system. Make sure that all cables are connected correctly and are tight, and that your hard drive jumper is set correctly. IE, one hard drive, set jumper to either Master or Cable select. 2 hard drives, set the "C" drive to Master and the second drive to slave.
