You might want to try using "RegAce", which actually has a startup manager, that allows you to stop programs loading at boot. You might want to download it from http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/registry_cleaner_reviews.html and then see if the startup controller will fix the issue 🙂
Get the mcafee removal tool .
it will solve all your problems .

Good Luck
im not sure what you have as far as vista or xp or windows 7 but go to run i guess if you have xp its under start menu if you have vista go to start menu click start search type msconfig hist enter when it comes up look under tab start u items look for mcafee uncheck this and hit apply and ok you wont have to deal with it no more cuz it wont open up by itself also just to help ya out since your allready in this msconfig box you can shut off many things here that you dont want in the start up that way your computer will boot up faster also go to services to shut things down as well
It is because something wrong with the related service and registry information of McAfee. You didn’t remove server start option or registry start option completely. So the information "components didn’t start…" can’t be deleted by uninstall of McAfee or reinstall of the windows.
My suggestion are:
The first method, you can remove it in the registry. open registry, find options related with McAfee, delete them. BUT if you aren’t familiar with registry, don’t do it by yourself. Because once you delete some important things, your operating system will be strongly impacted!!!You’d better rely on a professional registry cleaner.
The second method, restart your computer, then go into Safe Mode, then C disk→program files→McAfee→ delete this files.
whatever method you use, after removing or uninstalling it, you should clean up registry.i recommend wondershare registry optimizer.it can fix registry errors.
wish you success.
