   Many so called registry cleaners are designed to report errors that don’t even exist, so you will want to buy their commercial product.

   This is a scam.

   The way to tell is run the app, reboot and run it again. If it still reports lots of errors, it’s bogus.

   Okay, if it isn’t bad to use a registry cleaner, why are you hearing about all those errors?

   Do you use a RAM cleaner? Do you use a left handed widget cleaner? Do you use a kernel cleaner or a GUI cleaner?

   It would be a different matter if you had an error message or symptom that boiled down to a problem in the registry, but then you would need to fix the problem, not go hunting for more.

   Registry cleaners are like your mother-in-law coming to visit with white gloves on and looking under the cat’s litter box.
