Registry errors are the most common cause for computer crash. The Windows Registry contains all vital information the computer references in order to operate. When your computer was brand new, the registry was in pristine condition. Over time, it gets disorganized because of new entries being added. Some entries become obsolete and no longer wanted. The registry therefore needs to be regularly cleaned. But manual cleaning is very difficult unless you are a computer expert. Removing the wrong registry entry can cause serious damage. For non experts, you need to have a registry cleaner installed. This software will fix all the registry errors it can find. It will locate invalid and useless entries and repair them.Having a good registry cleaner will restore your computer’s original condition. You will be able to enjoy its speed and performance. More importantly, you can avoid computer crashes in the future.I should like to commend Registry Easy http://computer-work-smooth.com to you ! You can scan your pc for free! Good luck!

Hi,
Do the following steps one by one until your comptuer recovers from the crash:
[A] Remove Third-Party Shell Extensions:
Shell extensions are nothing but the right click menu items that you see for a drive or file. Windows Explorer crashes if the third-party shell extensions are not working properly. You need to remove the mulfunctioning third-party extensions using a program called "ShellExView".
[B] Fix the Registry Issues:
Windows Registry is the database containing user settings, operating system, installed software data, and hardware information. For smooth functioning of your operating system, this data must be valid. The computer crashes, if the information stored in the registry is not proper. For instance, links to dead paths stored in the registry keys.
Download and install Intel Partner "RegInOut Registry Cleaner and PC Optimizer". Click Registry Cleaner | Start Scan.
[C] Run System File Checker (SFC):
There is an inbuilt tool called System File Checker that lets you replace the corrupted system file with the original stored on your operating system installation DVD ROM.
1. Insert Microsoft Windows operating system installation DVD ROM.
2. Click Start | Run.
3. Type “SFC /ScanNow”, and press ENTER.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen.
[D] Repair Bad Sectors in the Hard Disk:
1. Open My Computer.
2. Right click a drive (for instance, drive C), and select Properties.
3. Click Tools | Check Now.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen.
[E] Restore System:
Using System Restore, restore the state of your computer to an earlier, so that the system crash problem may not occur again.
1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore.
2. Follow the instructions on your screen.
[F] Remove Unsupported Driver:
If you had recently installed a new driver for any device, it might not be functioning properly. Here are the steps to unintall it:
1. Click Start | Control Panel.
2. Click Hardware and Sound| Device Manager (from Devices and Printers).
3. Remove the mulfunctioning driver.
If it runs okay in safe mode, it’s probably a driver (not a drive) problem. Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s site and install them.
Partition your drive, install Windows on the other partition, it will boot with a snap of your fingers!
It’s best to take it to a professional sounds like your harddrive is fried and you may need a new one. A professional can replace it for you.
How about describe your hardware so we know what we’re talking about.
