There are products that you can buy to clean an LCD screen or computer screen. However, the easiest thing to use is a mixture of half water and half alcohol. Put this into a spray bottle and spray onto a rag. Do not spray it directly onto your screen because it could get into places that water really shouldn’t go. Use the rag with the mixture on it to wipe away unwanted spots, streaks, etc.
You have reason to be prudent cause some cleaners will damage the screen such as window cleaners and household cleaners. Eventually using these cleaners will cause some discoloration and result in a yellowish screen.
Water is your safest solution for cleaning your screen since it’s harmless.it will not cause any discoloration and damage to the screen.
Moisture a soft cloth and wipe the screen clean. Do not spray or wet the screen directly with water or cleaners, use a moist soft cloth instead.
You can purchase some Monitor cleaners from any computer repair shop or computer retailers . The same with your LCD screen any TV retail store should have cleaners made for the screen.
Use a damp soft cloth or if you prefer only the cleaners intended for the monitor and Lcd screen.
I know with my tv the manual tells me to never spray directly onto the screen. I have learned that spraying the paper towel/rag with the cleaning agent (windex, etc.) works well but if you have a larger tv like mine (50 inches) it is sometimes hard to get it clean without smudges. There are rags out there now that you do not need to use cleaning agents with at all. All you need to do is dampen them with water. The work WONDERS for all my screens. Good Luck!
I just use regular windex.
Be careful not to leave streaks.
Didn’t use any chemical cleaner at all. For LCDs, drop two or three white vinegar in a glass of water and wet a soft fabric in it for cleaning. For CRTs, Just use a water wetted soft fabric.
