I have a windows xp home edition and i cant clean the fan beacuse i dont have the write screw driver. it looks like a little star but i dont have it so is their a way to clean it without opening it or getting into it another way? thx

Go to any local hardware store. You will get a full set of screwdrivers, including the one you want.
First make sure your computer is off and unplugged.
Open up the case (if this is where you need the star screwdriver then you have to find one) Take a look at the CPU fan, which is probably pretty dirty.
My favorite method of cleaning the CPU fan is to use a vacuum clear with hose attachment. Just stick nozzle near the fan and slowly move it around (be gentle so as not to break anything!)
Another way to clean it is to use canned air, which is available at most office stores. Hold the can upright and spray anywhere that looks dusty in your case.
a can of compresed air should do the job
Buy a can of Dust Remover and blow the dust out of the fan.
