option a: your registry is full of useless programs
get spybot and it will remove all the programs and clean up your registry at the same time.
option b: your registry is full of dead links
you have to get registry mechanic or other commercial program like nortons utilities. you may be able to get trial full versions.
go to http://www.ccleaner.com and run that, also registry mechanic will also help out a lot 🙂 If you search on http://www.download.com click on the advanced search and there should be a combo box / drop down box for license type, select free and then search for registry cleaner and you should find one free one ( that will help you with that ) if you want the url post back and I can post the url for it.
