Not the internet browser history, I want to be able to clean the history off my computer when my OS is Windows Vista. I want to clear the recently changed, recent items, etc. How can I do this without using a program or downloading stuff?

Web Cache- is also known as the temporary internet folder. It contains your temporary internet files.The web cache is the primary folder that holds your previously viewed web pages and images.
Manual steps to erase your temporary internet files.
1. Quit Internet Explorer, Firefox, or any other web browser
2. Click Start, click "Control Panel", and then double-click "Internet Options".
3. On the General tab, click "Delete Files" under Temporary Internet Files.
4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the "Delete all offline content" check box , and then click OK.
5. Click OK.

to delete recently viewd documents. Go to start right click,properties,hit customize,hit the advanced tap on top,at the bottom of the tap is the recently viewd clear history,or you could make it not show in the start menu by unchecking show my recently viewd documents.
you can delete your Internet history
go to start;
run;
type in %temp% hit enter and then highlite and delete the temp. files there too, Note that a few files will be left because your system is using them but thats ok; Oh and empty the recycle bin after the delete because thats where they go when you delete them;
