CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it’s fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

Free!!
registry Manhanic will do it
There are many registry cleaners out there. free and not so good ones and great ones which will cost you. i have used about 15 different registry cleaners, and the free ones are pretty much useless. e.g ccleaner (ccleaner isnt an actual registry cleaner as it doesnt even touch your HKEY_CURRENT_USER files which are your registry files, all it does is give it a clean similar to the disk cleanup which comes with your OS). anyways i narrowed a few down and found two great registry cleaners that work equally well, the first is registry mechanic http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/ which costs US$50 (AU$64) but you need a credit card, and the other which i purchased is max secure registry cleaner http://www.maxregistrycleaner.com/ which costs US$40 (AU$51) and the reason i purchased this one is because they accept paypal which was very easy, i find them both very good but if you are going to use a credit card i would recommend registry mechanic, however there is very little difference, registry mechanic is recommended from more people and more pc magazines and websites. they both scan your registry and find nearly every .ddl and other files that are no longer being used and get rid of them, and you can choose to ignore some files that you might find still usefull. hope this information was usefull
