cd -rom drive dont use drivers. check in device manager see if there is any question marks listed if so uninstall then click on refresh it should install the drivers needed !
Choose the Activate Windows by Telephone option. You will have to explain to the tech that answers that you replaced your motherboard and now windows will not work. They will instruct you on how to update your product key so everything will run again. Make sure you mention you changed motherboards, you are allowed to call and change your product key 3 times (comes in handy for people who upgrade constantly). I had to do this with My Windows Vista install after I tried to put my ugprade CD on a new laptop.
It doesnt sound like its a problem with the CD Drive. Windows should be albe to find the drivers without you needing an install disk. Windows update may be able to even find it online for you, if one is needed.
I cant tell if you are having problems with your Windows install or your hardware, too vague.
Yes you can go to the manufacturers web site or go to http://www.driverguide.com or http://www.windrivers. com or type in the model number of the cd drive drivers on google.
