im missing software for windows XP so i cannot log into windows, i cannot even use the repair option to load the Windows XP CD, i need a back up way to run the cd…cause im out of options..

Make sure your PC is setup to boot from the CD.
You may have to go into your PC’s BIOS and set the "Boot Order" to allow rebooting from CD. (Make booting from CD the first choice)
Once this is done you insert the Windwos install disk and reboot the PC. Rather than attempting to boot from the hard drive the PC should read the CD rom and boot from the CD which will allow you to run the setup program.
okay now run command prompt and type in:
D:/
and press run
it should work from there
