You can use a registry cleaner to clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".
Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you’ve installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it’s Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Registry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!
There are some comparison and review of TOP 5 registry cleaners.

You can download and scan your computer for free.
The Windows Registry is the master control center for your operating system and applications it runs. Corruption or overload registry issues can cause all sorts of pc performance problems, including poor application startup times, slow Windows start-up, extremely slow shut down, slow internet surfing, inability to resume from computer sleep and more.Cleaning, compacting, and optimizing your Windows registry can go a long way to dramatically speeding up your computer’s performance, start-up and shutdown speed.
Recommended: Run a Registry Scan http://computer-e-book-money.com/ Now to Detect Errors and Improve your PC’s speed instantly!
Follow these steps and you’ll have your computer purring like a vintage Porsche (or whatever your dream car of choice is). And the best part? Maintaining your computer is a lot less messy than an automobile. You don’t even have to roll up your sleeves.
Clean up disk errors (Run once a week)
Whenever a program crashes, or you experience some power outage, your computer may create errors on your computer’s hard disk. Over time, the errors can slow your computer. Luckily, the Windows operating system includes a Disk Check program to check and clean any errors on your computer and keep it running smoothly.
Remove temporary files (Run once a week)
Your computer can pick up and store temporary files when you’re looking at Web pages and even when you’re working on files in programs, such as Microsoft Word. Over time, these files will slow your computer’s performance. You can use the Windows Disk Cleanup screen to rid your computer of these deadbeat files.
Rearrange your data (Run once a month)
Don’t be shocked, but your computer can get sloppy. Your computer often breaks files side by side to increase the speed of access and retrieval. However, as files are updated, your computer saves these updates on the largest space available on the hard drive, often found far away from the other adjacent sectors of the file.
Make Internet Explorer run faster
The Web is a sparkling achievement of modern society. It’s everywhere—from the home to the classroom. We use it to communicate, to work, to play—even to waste time when there’s nothing else to do.
Automate Microsoft Update (Configure once)
Microsoft works constantly to release updates to Windows and other Microsoft products, including Office. At Microsoft Update, you can find and install all these updates—not just the critical ones. Often, these updates will improve your computer’s performance.
Install antivirus and antispyware programs
Computer viruses and spyware (hidden software that gathers information about you without your knowledge or consent when you’re using a computer) both reduce system performance. Computer viruses can not only reduce performance, but they can also destroy data. Any computer that accesses the Internet should have antivirus and antispyware programs installed.
Hi, you can speed up your computer by the following methods:
1.run a antivirus software to scan your computer fully.
virus usually impacts the speed of computer.Do not use two antivirus at one time for they will make conflict and then you computer may collapse.
If there is no virus, see the possible reasons that make computers slow down and solutions.
2.Registry is the centre database of your computer operating system which contains information and settings for hardware, operating system software, most non-operating system software, and per-user settings. You must load the registry whenever you launch any programs on your computer. If the registry is too fat or with some errors, computer’s performance will seriously be impacted. So, you need to clean up registry and fix its errors.
If you are not familiar with registry, don’t remove files away from it and clean up it easily for you may delete important things that will make your computer in trouble. You’d better choose to use a professional registry cleaner, personally,I like wondershare registry optimizer,it’s safe to operating system.
3.There must be too many programs start up automatically when you start your computer.Run a registry optimizer or cleaner to stop those unnecessary start-up programs.
4.Have you ever clean up your computer since you bought it? If the answer is never, I am sure that there are lots of junk files on it. Junk files is also one of reasons that will cause computer slowing down. You’d better delete them regularly.
2,3,4 can be realized by a registry optimizer.
5.If a registry optimizer doesn’t work, add RAM or do a fresh reinstall of windows. Before you do a reinstall, please remember to back up.However, you should know that frequent reinstall is harm to hard disk.
6.Put programs on other drivers ,not C driver, because commonly C is for operating system. And defrag hard disks every 2 months.
7. do not run too many programs at one time
Good luck.
You probably have viruses.
1. Run some ONLINE virus scans, such as Bit Defender
http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html
IF you have trojans, then you need to reinstall your operating system – there is no other way to shortcut this and guarantee your system is clean. Once you reinstall your system will run as good as new.
2. Check your system specs. How much memory do you have? Right click on My computer, left click properties. If you have less than 1 GB, then it’s way too low for much of anything. Price out RAM, but if the computer is older than 4-5 years, then I’d recommend replacing your computer versus spending any money on it.
3. If you have enough memory, then check what is loading at startup. Start, Run, "msconfig", Startup tab. Uncheck unnecessary items from loading, start with the bottom of the list.
As I mentioned, most likely your system is all virused up and you need to reinstall the operating system.
Reformat your computer. Only install the programs you need. Don’t use internet explorer. Use Chrome or Firefox.
Get more RAM. You can never have too much, trust me 😉
Try re-installing your operating system. Poorly written programs are taking up memory and cpu cycles.
It is sure that, at some point in time, an upgrade of the RAM modules, or graphics card, or maybe even purchase a whole new computer package helps to speed up the computer. But you can still try the steps below to speed up your computer without paying any fee.
1) Uninstall the programs that you don’t need.
2) Delete the files you don’t need
3) Use the disk clean-up option in Windows to regularly clean up the system junk files.
4) Turn off System Restore feature.
5) Use a reliable registry cleaner to clear the windows registry.
6) Regularly scan the computer for viruses and spyware.
7) Remember to disable some unneeded startup items.
Once you have done the above point, follow the steps below:
1)defragment your hard drive- A GOOD solution to speeding up your computer by effectively managing the files on the hard disk as you can see more detailed information here: http://ezinearticles.com/?Disk-Defragmentation%A1%AAMake-Computers-Run-Faster-Soon&id=3162755
2) Turn on the real-time safe-guard feature of your anti-virus program to protect you computer at any time.
These are what I have done when trying to speed up my computer, and wish them help you, too!
