try Okoker Data Recovery or Data Recovery Wizard
I had the same problem with my laptop’s hard drive.
I bought a adapter – Sabrent USB 2.0 to IDE/SATA Cable for 2.5-Inch/ 3.5-Inch / 5.25-Inch Drive with Power Adapter http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2329300&Sku=M501-1220 I removed the hard drive from the laptop and I connected it to my other computer via USB. It acts like an external hard drive.
Unfortunately my hard drive’s system data was RAW, so I had to format it into NTFS and recover the files with a recovery program (that I don’t remember what it’s called, a friend gave me his) I could recover all the pictures I had, but nothing else (Office documents, videos, etc.)
The easiest way would be to buy a 2.5" external enclosure, remove the hard drive from the laptop, then place it in the enclosure and hook it up to your computer via USB. I have done this many of times, it is an essential tool to quickly upgrade a laptop’s hard drive and copy the data to it. In this case, you could just copy the data to another computer.
Since most computers these days come with a restore disc, it would not be the best option to go with that as it would likely wipe everything and restore to factory default. You can do that to fix the OS problems, (assuming that is the issue you are having), until you had safely saved the data via the method I mentioned above.
Dont worry.
Remove the attached USB cable attached to your printer first.
Start ur system in Safe mode or last good known configaration option.
Take the back up of ur files on pen drive or other disk drive.
If your system not started then go to HP service center then they will recover ur data by attaching ur hard drive to another hard drive which is bootable.
Keep your Notebook HDD careful then make a phone call to IT engineer!
