I have McAfee virus protection plus "super anti spyware" program. I do the scan everyday, delete temp. internet files(cookies, etc.), clean my hard drive, and defragment it. I still get pop ups eventhough the pop up blocker is on, plus when these ads for a virus protection come up, they block pictures. Not to mention, I have two trojans to get rid of which are called Winfixer and Vundo..anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a link to read:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WinFixe
Scam internet security advertising such as Winfixer, WinAntivirus, WinAnti"this and that", ErrorSafe, etc are often caused by the Vundo (Virtumonde) infection.
Most "general purpose" scanners such as Norton, AVG, Spybot etc can not
detect it, as you have found out already.
The standard removal tool for Vundo is called VundoFix and it is available for free here:
http://vundofix.atribune.org/
However there is a new version of Vundo which uses rootkit technology to avoid detection and removal. The new Vundo rootkit needs advanced manual removal techniques or a reformat to delete it.

Here’s hoping that yours is the good ol’ fashioned Vundo!
Good luck.
You have to get rid of those Trojans for sure. Didn’t you get a startup (boot) disk with McAfee anti-virus? You need to use this to clean your drive, this way the trojans don’t load when the PC is booted. You can also try http://www.antivirus.com and use the "house call" scan to see if it finds anything – this is an internet based anti-virus/spyware scanner and it could take some time to complete. Computer associates also have an online scan (www.ca.com).
So many possibilities:
1. There’s some malware that McAfee can detect and warn you about, but can’t remove.
2. You have malware that pops up fake virus protection messages.
3. You’re visiting web sites that have pop-up ads that look like virus protection warnings and can evade the popup blocker.
4. You have so many protection apps running around the computer they’re running into each other and consider each other threats. So McAfee warns you about something Winfixer does. Vundo sees something McAfee does as a threat and tries to disable it, McAfee warns you about that. Etc.
Probably more that haven’t come to me yet.
dude…..here you go:-
for antivirus…..use avast antivirus…it has on access protection which doesn’t even allow the virus to enter the system….suppose you are downloading something and say it is a virus or it contains a virus….then avast would detect it and the connection would be terminated…….for home use…registration is free with updates!!!
for avast antivirus:- http://www.avast.com
now coming to adware:-
use ad-aware 2007…..it is also free for home use an dis very efficient in removing ad wares!!!
for ad-aware 2007:-
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_a…
now coming to spyware:-
use spyware doctor…you can obtain it for free from google pack.
for spyware doctor:-
http://pack.google.com/intl/en/pack_inst…
now coming to your browser:-
use mozilla firefox only and do not use internet explorer as mozilla firefox is very much secure!!!
It is also free and is available for download through google pack for which the link has been already quoted by me above.
Doing all this makes yer computer with 100% security!!!
get Mozilla Firefox is blocks pop-ups. I used McAfee before and it can’t even detect any cookie and it can’t protect your computer. I suggest you to get Norton.

It may also pay to disable Windows messanger service (if not done already), how to here.

And agree with the rest, if you’re using Internet exploder it may pay to try an alternative browser like Firefox or Opera.
The popup blocker in Ffx is way superior than that of IE.
