Download the free AVG anti-virus and end your problem.
http://www.grisoft.com/ and look for anti-virus, while there also get anti spyware. Or better yet go to http://www.filehippo.com and you download free AVG anti-virus and anti-spyware and heaps of other stuff. It is strongly suggested you run at least two anti-spyware programs. And on filehippo they cost nothing.
click on control panel, click on Security Centre. it should show you if it is on.
you’ll need to buy it.
tip: never use norton..
i personally think nod32 is a great antivirus, i haven’t had any problems for awhile.

If you have an anti virus installed and windows doesn’t say you do then just tell it that you will monitor it yourself. It doesn’t really matter if windows notices it or not.
