   Depending on the age of the machine, it may have a restore partition built into the hard drive, that will enable you to restore the computer back to its factory installed state. A few ways to check for this is to open "My Computer" and see if there is another hard drive listed besides C: and not your DVD/CD Rom drive.

   If there isn’t all isn’t lost. When you restart the computer there may be an option to press F10 to restore, but you need to read the prompts to find out what button to push. It will be fast so be prepared to restart several times. You can also look up your model number on Google to see if it has a restore partition. Sometimes you can also order the disk from Emachines for about $25.

   The best way to clean up the computer is to reformat it.

   or use a program such as ccleaner.

   ccleaner would help. they got registry clean up tool too.
