Okay I understand that because I have defragmented my computer
Windows XP…that I may not get rid of things that need to be removed
Temp folders etc..Do I need these folders? I don’t want to remove anything I have no disk for this computer and am trying to clean up all the crap (porns)etc that have been put on this system any suggestions….PLZ don’t make me tear it up !!!

You need the folders but not the files inside…to clear temp files right click on IE>>click properties>>click delete temp files>>delete history>>delete cookies (if you delete cookies make sure you know the passwords for sites you go to that require you to sign in)
To get rid of the spyware (porn, popups, etc) and possible viruses and trojans..I would suggest joining a security forum and posting a HJT log. Experts will help you in cleaning it up. I have posted a link to a good site with expert security help…Registration and help is free
Well go to windows folder in C drive. Open up a folder called prefetch in it and delete all the files in there, they are unwanted.
Next download and install CCleaner for free. Run the program and it will clean unwanted files on your computer. You will however need to manually delete theporn as CCleaner won’t do that for you lol…
Then you go to control panel –> Add/Remove programs and remove all the unwanted programs over there that you do not need.

go in a delete it all… dis defragmenter isnt going to remove stuff for you… it replaces things so its not all clustered . when it gets clustered the computer gets confused and thinks there is less space… thats what the defragmenter is for… anyway just do the disk clean up and download ccleaner… best program EVA 😛

PC maintenance is one of the most important things you should do.
You can delete temp folders and temp internet files safely to your recycle bin and see if the PC runs ok for a day; if so, dump the recycle bin. 🙂
Just run disk cleanup and delete everything it suggests and you will be fine
