Too late, you already have one. What you have described are only some of the symptoms of an infected disk. You won’t notice the rest of them until your friends start asking until why you sent them emails that you don’t remember. That will be your computer reading your address and spreading by "mailing" copies of itself to all the other people you know. First, get off the Internet and stay there until your system is 100% clean. You can do this in many ways, you can replace the infected drive, and before you get back on, make sure you have a completes set of virus stopping and cleaning tools. Either find good friend who can set you up by downloading everything onto his computer, or hire someone to do it for you. Insist that part of the whole process is you being taught to keep your system cleaned all by yourself. Packages that you buy are easier to use. Freeware does not cost any money, but requires that you know what you are doing. I would recommend the best of both worlds, start with a commercial package and and a clean system and slowly learn how to keep your own system "clean". BTW, if you are in a hurry to get your system clean, you won’t be losing any money when you buy that new hard disk. Once it is clean you can hook it up as extra storage. You can never have too much storage space.
Go to download.com and download the software program spybot it really works and its FREE! You could also check out the software program historykill download it for FREE for 30days…use it and they uninstall it…it REALLY works also
use a Virus scan… i hear PC cillin is great… i have CA… but thats because i get it free with Road Runner
Download Spybot Search and Destroy. Its a very good software and will take out all the sypware and other crap you have on your computer. Then I would suggest you do an online scan of your computer. PandaActive Scan is the best and I have beeen using it for years. Also make sure your antivirus is updated and all the definition files are updated too…If you dont have any get AVG. Its the best free antivirus out there
almost always porn spyware will never show up on your computer unless someone using that machine has been to porn or free software download sites. I say this because you can get rid of it using the free software, but it will be right back again when whoever it is uses the computer again.
You will need anti virus/spyware software to remove them. FInd some here: http://www.pccurb.com/guide-on-anti-virusspyware-software/
All programs, accessories, system tools, disc cleanup.
If you still have problems – try system restore prior to the date you statrted getting pop ups
