Helpero is a web site that helps every Internet user, from all over the world, solve any computer related problem. You can ask Helpero for free.
to get rid of programs, go to start> control panel> add or remove programs. there you can uninstall your programs. registry cleaners are for clearing registry enteries that are no use because the program that uses it no longer exists.
If you want to clean your registry and unistall, you can get tuneup utilties 2007. you can use it for a month with no limitations.
to remove basic unwanted software go to control panels/ add-remove software/ select from list, and remove,
if not in list but in start/ programs menu, check folder for uninstaller,
if none go to folder, analyze, and place in recycle bin,
then run ~ regedit, search for related unknown software and remove, then delete trash, cause of unknown software not being listed to uninstall, could be spyware, suggest running ad-aware or spy-bot scan,
to clean up registry, try various tools to search with, but not delete until sure file or program is not longer in use,

to get rid of/uninstall programs do this:
open the control panel–>click add or remove programs–>find the program you want to remove and click "remove"–>go through whatever wizard that pops up…the program should be gone =D
instead of just a reg cleanup, get this:
http://www.download.com/Advanced-WindowsCare/3000-2086-10407614.html
that will scan your reg along with tons of other things that will help your comp.
note: this is for a windows computer, not a mac
I don’t believe buying a registry cleanup program is worth it, but that is just my opinion. I would recommend going to start->settings->control panel->add/remove programs and just removing the programs you do not need from there.
the correct way to remove unwanted programs is go to start > Control panel> add or remove programs.
After you remove them you should rumn Disk clean up and Defrag the drive
Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer you create junk in the registry. You should clean your registry with registry cleaners. There are some review and comparison on registry cleaners tools. http://www.registry-cleaners.info
