   Sluggishness can be a number of things. It could be that you don’t have enough processing power ie. your computer doesn’t have a fast enough cpu or enough memory. Or your internet connection might not be fast enough. This is needed especially for online games.

   If the computer is sluggish all the time then it could be a bloated registry. But you should also check for spyware or viruses. These can slow down a system too.

   A good free registry cleaner which is downloaded a lot and used a lot is cc cleaner. Just do a search for it.

   I myself like RegCure or System Mechanic. Both are paid. Both work very well.

   If you use a registry cleaner just remember to back up your registry. cc cleaner and the better registry cleaners let you do this in their program. Also you could do a Windows restore point. Just in case you have problems you can roll back your system to the restore point.

   First get rid of any old files and programs you no longer need. Then do a defrag on your computer. Then do a Virus scan and a spyware scan using programs like Mcafee and hitman pro. After that download reg mechanic from PC tools and run it. That should help your computer.
