   the noise could be because its such a old computer.
   u should get a new laptop every 5 years at the max also having 480mb of memory is very low.
   i suggest u buy a new laptop or u upgrade ur laptop a little more by adding in some new ram

   Dust and lint sometimes gets sucked into the vents and causes the fan to be extra noisy. You probably need to get a can of compressed air and blow it our really good . It’s available at any store that sells computer stuff.
