listen to them, but dont shut off the pc. do this…. control panel ->add or remove progras- then delete unneccesary programs 😉
I am assuming you mean hard drive space?
If so, use the Disk Cleanup application and the Disk Defragmenter application for a pc. If you have a mac, it runs scripts on a schedule that you can change using MacJanitor or Cocktail. These will clean out temporary and unusable files. The only way to free large amounts of space will be to uninstall applications using the control panel in pc’s, or dragging the application bundles to the trash in a mac. Be careful though because you have to make sure you delete the entire program because mac’s do not have a registry or uninstall excutable files. Since pc’s do have a registry you could also try cleaning it usings software such as Abexo Free Regisrty Cleaner. It will erase incomplete paths and useless information the was left behind when deleting and uninstalling applications. That’s really all I can think of doing to free up space.
P.S. if you were talking about RAM, than know that it is temporary memory and is erased when the computer is shut down.
Down load CCleaner from ccleaner.com. Its free and works well.

To clear everything on your disks (except C disk of course), go to "My Computer", click on the disk that you want to clean, right click on the icon, click format, and click format again.
To clear everything period, reinstall your computer (Windows 200, Xp, etc) and follow the directions. (You will need your installation CD for this.)
To uninstall programs, go to "Control Panel", click on add/remove programs, and there will be a list of the programms installed on your computer.
To target a specific program that is hard to get rid of on your computer, meaning that Control Panel or the uninstall icon is not working, go to "Start", "Search", and type in the name of the program that you’re trying to delete. Then, when the list comes up, delete manually everything that has the program’s name. (You might want to delete one at a time).
You go "my computer", right click on your fhard drive, click the tools tab, and run the disk defragmenter. or http://www.microsoft.com/athome/moredone/cleansweep.mspx
delete lots of pictures and unwanteddocuments by looking in My Documents. Also go on start, then control pannel, then Add/Remove programs to find any unwanted programs you have. Dont 4get to empty ur recycle bin cuz that has quite a few deleted things too!
Hope ive helped xxxxx
Uninstall anything that u dont use anymore from the ADD/REMOVE section in ur control panel. Uninstall games, music players like (Limewire, napster ect) Anything that u have once installed and dont play or use anymore
I believe that would be Defrag but i’m kinda new to this computer goings and comings…
go to add and delee programs in your control panel and look through all your files and delete all you dont need and delete all your cookies and tep. files from the inernet. Then after that restart your compuer and if you hae any air cleaner stuff blow out your tower if will run even better and quieter.
disk clean up and check all the boxes not just the 3 that are already cheked
Defrag it, gets rid of fragmented files
format the hard drive(LOL)
do a disk defrag, back up the contents to disk, delete uneeded files, etc.
Delete programs from the controal pannale that you no longer need in your coumputer
reformat
Turn the computer off, then turn it back on.
just put all your videos/pics and movies on dvd’s and remove unused programs with add/remove programs. Also ude disk cleanup in windows to delete old error dump files and temporary internet pages. Also consider getting a new hard drive disk.Defragmenting only rearranges the files so your hdd can find things faster and reformatting will wipe everything off your hdd and you will have to reinstall windows again.Hope this helps
