Well if you have it installed as a software on your computer, you can go to "Start", then click on control panel and go to add/remove programs, and look for the program you’d like removed, and just remove it through there. That’s it. It will automatically UN-install it.

go to ass remove programs in control panel and try to remove them there
Go to Start, then Control Panel, then select Classic View of Control Panel, then click on Add or Remove Programs. From there, select the Virus Program you want to uninstall.

Add/Remove Programs is the best solution. The software, once uninstalled, should not leave anything behind.
First – get a copy of a shareware / free trial of a registry cleaner (Ace Utilities is as good as any … see link). Install registry cleaner – then reboot computer to safe mode. Delete all program files for the anti-virus program you want to get rid of. Run registry cleaner to remove all registry entries of the program – and that should do it. Good luck!
