One program you should have if you don’t already is CCleaner. It’s keeps your system, files, and browser temp Internet files clean. It also has a good registry cleaner which I use all the time. You can also search manually using regedit in the cmd box, but if you’ve never ventured into the Registry, I’d advise against it. Try CCleaner, but I can tell you this, I use Advance System Care and Glary Utilities, in addition to CCleaner, and still some keys get left behind. Unless, the leftover keys are causing problems, I would not worry about it, especially if you ran CCleaner. Glary’s registry cleaner is strong, but not as strong as Advance System Care’s. Always use registry cleaners with caution, they can mess things up. Keep backups until you know everything checks clear.

I also recommend you try CCleaner. I’d say it’s the most perfect tool for PC clean and registry fix for FREE. No matter you are computer newbies or advanced users, it will help based on your preferences. Moreover, it’s more than a registry clean tool, there are more features valuable for this simple but powerful program including secure deletion option, uninstaller, startup management and other preferences etc to enhance your computer for sure.
You can choose to let it delete or keep specific files or folders with CCleaner.
