Disk Cleanup–This tool allows you to clean up compressed and unnecessary files collected during Windows operations. Windows has deemed these files safe to delete. This files can be anything from your temporary internet files to programs no longer in use.
HOW TO:
1. Click Start
2. Programs
3. Accessories
4. System Tools
5. Click Disk Cleanup.
Here are some other ways to clean up your computer:

Go under My Computer and right-click on the hard drive you would like to, "Clean up." Then click on properties. Near the middle of the page on the right side there is a button that says, "Disk Cleanup." Just click on that. Or go under start, then all programs, then accessories, then System Tools, then Disk Cleanup. If you do the second way just click the hard drive you want to clean in the drop down list and hit OK. Then after it scans your computer it gives up options that you can check, or uncheck, to gain more memory space. And if you go under advanced it gives you the option of, deleting systom restore points, disabling Windows components, or uninstalling software.
