   > You need Computer with minimum or recommended requirement for installing Windows XP.
   > You need Windows XP Bootable CD.
   > Change you BIOS Setting, keep CD / DVD Drive as your first boot device (for going to BIOS setting keep hitting ‘DELETE’ key when Computer starts booting).
   > Insert XP CD in Drive. It will boot automatically.
   > Follow the on screen instructions.
   > Steps involves (in shorts):
   >> Agree License Agreement (Press ‘F8’)
   >> Delete all Partitions – Create new Partitions – Select Partition on which you want to install XP (First C:)
   >> Format Primary Partition (Full / Quick)
   >> Actual Setup will get start.
   >> Type: Your Name, Organization’s Name, Administrator’s Password, Computer Name, Network (if any)
   >> Finally User Accounts.
   > It is done. Change few setting as you need. Install Drivers for your hardware. Install your required software along with good anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall.

   insert your cd labeled win xp any edditition you have and dont let it make repair and you must let it make format of the drive you will install on
   or insert a start up disk (yau can make it from win 98) then make the first boot dives from the motherboard is the floby disk_insert the start disk and restart the pc will pegin in dos mode type in"format c:/q" then enter
   it will ask you for confirm press y then insert your windows disk
   and dont forget to remove anything you need from the drive you will use to any drive because all the data will be lost

   I would use XP, as media center can be a little daunting. Basically, just boot the system with the XP cd in the drive, and follow the instructions. It shouldn’t be too complicated.
