Good advice from the guy above. If your computer works ok don’t fiddle with the bios. It can stop your computer starting at all if you save the wrong settings.
Friend,
If you have a RAM Greater than 1GB if not then try to update your RAM. Otherwise you may try by increasing you virtual memory. For reference you may check http://complete-solution.blogspot.com/2010/09/pc-laptop-restart-problem-automatic.html . I am sure this will help you and your system start up time will be reduced.
With best regards,
Sunil Saharan
Use ccleaner to remove all the unwanted files and registry entries and scan with a good antivirus like mse or avast or avira to check if there’s any malware thats causing the slowdown
also scan with malwarebytes just to be sure
Click start
Type msconfig & hit enter
Click on the services tab
Click hide all Microsoft services
Click disable all
Now click on the startup tab & click disable all
Now reboot!
Hope this helps!
delet unwanted files
The reason why your computer runs slow is that your windows registry is full of junk and errors. The Windows registry is a database repository of information about a computer’s configuration. Installing/uninstalling software and surfing online will make your registry a mess, leading to decreased PC performance and causing computer crashes. The registry size keeps growing when you use Windows. When the registry becomes very large, your computer’s performance will be decayed and unstable. The registry cleaner can help improve your computer’s performance.
