If there isnt any viruses, you can also run scans for spyware, adware and malware. You could also possibly have too many unused programs and files, thus making "clutter." You can defragment, delete unused files and programs. It could also be your service provider having issues, give them a call and see if there are any problems on their end. Also, make sure to keep your computer updated and run all the updates.
First, you may have spyware on the computer that wasn’t caught by your anti virus software. There are shareware programs like Spybot that will help you to eliminate spyware that might slow down your PC.
Next, you may be having problems with disk space. If your hard drive is nearly full, the system will slow down. Check the available space on the hard drive. If it is below 300 mg, you might consider uninstalling some programs or backing up your data to another location.
Even if you have ample disc space, you should probably delete all of the temporary internet files (not the cookies) and defrag the hard drive. It takes a while to defrag, but it will speed up your PC in ways that you wouldn’t believe. Good luck!
try antispyware software such as spybot, asquared or adaware(all free downloads). after that add more ram especially if you have less then 512MB, also get ccleaner(free) it will get rid of all the left over crap that installing and uninstalling programs leave behind. do the regular cleaning and the issues cleaning.
Your current RAM may be error free, but do you have enough RAM? Many new computers come a little short on RAM in my opinion.
Your virus/security software is using most of your computer resources. Unfortunately all types of anti virus and security software is a cpu/ram hog. The only way to fix this nail computer problem is to uninstall the software from your computer all together. I use the backup method so I don’t have to use those cpu hogging programs.
PC become slow after a year or more just from simple tasks, i recommend that you reinstall your Operating System. It will make your computer like new.
hmmmmm
it has to be your memory there isnt any other explanation for this exept for virus or memory
defragment
