   to get your background back – click on your "start" button and click "control panels". double click on "display", select the "desktop" tab. this will allow you to choose a background from what they offer or browse and pick a picture to use as the background. once you have what you want click "ok"

   concerning open program not staying up on restart. not sure what you mean by that. a restart is basically the computer shutting down completely, part of that process includes closing all open files and programs. a restart is the same as when you first turn the computer on. nothing is going to be there that isn’t in the start program. programs you use should appear in your start menu for ease in use next time you need them

   you might look for your security center in the list of all programs. you should be able to start it from there. check all of the options, there may be a way to schedule when the security center comes on and when certain tasks are performed

   try this…restart you pc\laptop and start it in safe mode, you go in safe mode by pressing f8. once in safe mode go to your start button and go to system restore point and restore your pc before the virus…that will help..

   Simple.
   Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE. On the Task Manager click File then Run. Type in explorer.exe =)
