   You have to fix the mbr.
   If its not broken, then why fix it……????
   Just change the timeout to like 5 seconds in /boot/grub/menu.lst

   Ubuntu loads a bootloader called a GRUB bootloader that writes over the MBR (Master Boot Record)

   Download this .iso (using a torrent client like bittorrent):http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/4020989/Windows_Vista_Recovery_CD.4020989.TPB.torrent

   Write it to a disk using an .iso burner

   configure BIOS to boot from it

   Boot from it.

   Get into the recovery console or

   and type in the command fixmbr

   problem solved!

   You probably only need to reinstall the windows 7 bootloader to the mbr since ubuntu wrote the grub bootloader to the mbr.
