   Well depends are what type of mother board you have. I know that my computer monitor turns on when i turn the computer off then cuts off for like a couple minutes then i have to turn Monitor on again. in Slim cases it might be a Monitor problem or a Video card.

   Is this after a reboot or what ?
   Check the Display properties, go to an open space on the screen and right click to properties. Select the setting tab. Now note the screen resolution and lower it to 1024 X 768 and hit apply, if it pop’s up a window and ask if it works answer it. Now you should be able to slide it back toward the value it was before and hit apply, if you can’t see anything it should reset in 10 seconds or so.
